A Lancer Christmas

I thought this was pretty funny. Go Gears!

Got an extra flash drive?

Have an extra thumb drive, why not use it for something more then carrying around those old papers for last semesters class. Add some memory to your XP laptop or desktop and make that sucker fast for when you play WOW at your grandma's house ( assuming she actually has an internet connection, or a stupid neighbor who has not heard of security on a wifi network).

I myself may try this when I get my hp mini note 1000. Good luck!

Mac vs PC

These guys have come up with a pretty way to display the PC vs MAC battles. The special effects are pretty cool as well.

Kicken' it Old School: Powerglove

Who needs a Wii! Who else used to own a Nintendo/Mattel Powerglove?  I did and I remember that it was one crappy gadget.  Great memories though, I'm glad I had one.

Now it's my turn! New rig is finished!

Now first off no my machine cannot dominate Dan's machine (ya know the one with a fan the size a typical learjet's jet engine) and no it doesn't have 8 cores (Will) but I think I did pretty good with my budget. Newton 3.0 and Wiggins took me to Micro Center yesterday and I left with a box and two bags worth of components. So what am I using....??

Intel Media Series mother board with 1.3GHz FSB
Intel Core 2 Quad 9300 @ 2.5GHz
4GB of PC2 6400
nVidia EVGA geForce 9600 with 512MB of DDR3 RAM
700W PSU from OCZ Tech
Seagate 500GB HDD @ 7200rpm

After all this plus a case and a DVD drive it came to about $820

I think we all can agree that a machine like this from Dell or HP could cost at least $1600!

So Dan your machine still kicks ass! But I'm happy I can play WoW at the highest settings and get 60 fps
