First gameplay footage of Star Wars: The Old Republic

The first released gameplay footage hit the intertubes today and it looks awesome.  The Documentary is a great watch with a lot of good info as well.  What do you guys think?  Are you excited for SW:TOR or is WoW going to be your MMO drug of choice in your galaxy not so far away?

Hello every1-
I finally got around to writing a css style sheet for the blog.
I took me a while to write since I hadn't written anything for the web in like a year or so.
Its very simple for now, but it should give you an idea of where I want to take it.
Remember you can always "revert to previous" if you don't like it, but I would like some feedback from you.
(I have been told I have weird aesthetics so you won't hurt my feelings if you say you don't like it!)
But please tell me what in it you don't like so I can ponder your suggestion or ignore if its total shit. As it happens most of the time with the usual "I think is ugly", or worst "I like it" @_@

HOME is finally here!!!

So after many frustrations today  (forgetting the cable, server crashing, etc.) HOME BETA is finally out and for anybody with a PS3 and a PSN account for the grabs. 

The interface looks like something that apple could have created. Games can be created and launched within HOME, no more excuses for not inviting your friends to kick some arse with you in R2. 

Every location has to be downloaded, with a size averaging 32mb and taking about 3 minutes to download (Comcast 12mbs here) and can be downloaded in the background while you explore other areas. 

The movie theater not that impressive, looks just like any other theater but at least the videos play in HD. Too bad people get in the way if you are seated, and yes that redhead is Hayley from Paramore in the Twilight music video, damn I'm so happy to see her at home to bad is not mine :(

Zune Phone to come out soon?

I think it's interesting Microsoft is thinking and willing to release a new gadget. Especially a phone since there are so many big competitors out in the arena. They will have to come out with something truly amazing and unique to be able to battle it out in the smart phone arena. It will be interesting to see what Microsoft comes up with though.
I already own an 80gb Zune and I'm happy with it, but I just can't see Microsoft making a good and worthy phone gadget. I think they did a good job on the Zunes, and decent on the 360's, but noting their track record with current software and the problems they've had with hardware makes me hesitant to say this will be a success, if they do release a phone.

Finally Playstation 3 Owners will get their NXE!

After years of delays, Playstation 3 owners will finally be getting Home tomorrow.  It's dubbed as "beta", which makes me wonder if it will follow Google's lead with their Google Mail, which has been in beta since launch.  I know a few of us are pretty excited for it, so check back for our first impressions.

Dr Zeus, Light Sabers, 12KW Tesla Coils

I don't know if I would actually stand in between two tesla coils even with a suit, but I think it's awesome. Now if the little teleportation trick from The Prestige were possible then I might be willing to test it out.

Gears of rust!

Hey all, you want to know something fantastic? Well I am going to tell all the same! Gears of War 2’s multiplayer mode suck’s the big banana, if it’s not finding you a game it’s probably not let you chat over the head set without you backing out of the party.
And what if you have a friend over and want to get some multi-player XBOX live action going on with the booth of you, well to bad if you do not have a second XBOX and copy of Gears 2.
And good damn luck finding a wired head seat, those things are like gems this time of year!
