PS3 Home Review

I thought this review of PS3's Home was pretty entertaining. Click on the post title for the review.

I couldn't help but start laughing when I started imagining all the things that will be done on Home. It sounds promising but will adolescent like behavior deem it absurd?

HOME is finally here!!!

So after many frustrations today  (forgetting the cable, server crashing, etc.) HOME BETA is finally out and for anybody with a PS3 and a PSN account for the grabs. 

The interface looks like something that apple could have created. Games can be created and launched within HOME, no more excuses for not inviting your friends to kick some arse with you in R2. 

Every location has to be downloaded, with a size averaging 32mb and taking about 3 minutes to download (Comcast 12mbs here) and can be downloaded in the background while you explore other areas. 

The movie theater not that impressive, looks just like any other theater but at least the videos play in HD. Too bad people get in the way if you are seated, and yes that redhead is Hayley from Paramore in the Twilight music video, damn I'm so happy to see her at home to bad is not mine :(

Home 1.0

HOME 1.0 is out for you all beta testers! 

Looks like Sony did in fact, deliver what they promised, at least some part of it. Also they sent about 10k invitations to Quore subscribers and people that applied for be beta testers through the HOME theme. It should be a couple of weeks until everybody's able to join in, for now I'm still HOMEless.
